How to Claim SECT Staking Rewards

A staking reward claim transfers earned SECT out of the holder-rewards contract; it does not have the same purpose as claiming an eventual Genesis airdrop allocation.

When are staking rewards claimable?

Sectora says its holder rewards accrue every second and can be claimed at any time, without waiting for a monthly or yearly payout date.

That description applies to the published staking contract, not to the airdrop’s scheduled distribution on SectoraEVM.

Claim and withdrawal are different actions

A claim concerns accumulated rewards. A withdrawal concerns SECT previously deposited as principal. The staking page presents these as separate actions.

Before signing, read the action name and contract address in the wallet confirmation. A claim should not require sending tokens to an unrelated receiving wallet.

Costs and verification

An Ethereum claim transaction normally requires a network fee in ETH. You can verify a confirmed transaction through a blockchain explorer using the transaction hash.

If a transaction is pending or reverted, do not repeat it blindly. Check the network, contract state and official troubleshooting guidance first.

Airdrop claim timing is separate

Sectora describes Genesis airdrop rewards as starting on the launch of SectoraEVM, with payment split across two installments. A page promising an immediate Genesis claim before the stated delivery conditions deserves careful scrutiny.
