SECT Token: Ethereum Asset and Sectora Utility
SECT is the token named across Sectora’s holder-rewards and Genesis airdrop materials. Understanding where the token exists and how it is used helps distinguish staking from future network rewards.
SECT on Ethereum
Project materials identify SECT as an Ethereum ERC-20 token. The published staking program uses Ethereum mainnet, so fees and confirmations occur on that network.
The token name alone is not a reliable way to identify an asset. Check the contract address in the project’s primary documentation and verify it through a reputable explorer.
SECT in staking
A SECT holder can, according to Sectora, deposit tokens into the holder-rewards contract to accrue more SECT. The marketed staking rate is 14.9% annually, with no stated lock-up on the original staking page.
A published interest rate is denominated in SECT and does not make the fiat value of the token stable. Liquidity, smart-contract operation and market conditions still matter.
SECT in Airdrop Genesis
Sectora says 7,000,000 SECT are assigned to the Genesis reward pool. Published tier examples begin at 100 SECT in staking alongside an active Hash Node.
Reward delivery is tied to SectoraEVM launch and additional eligibility conditions, rather than to a universal token claim available to any wallet.
SECT on SectoraEVM
The roadmap describes SectoraEVM as the destination for airdrop payments and future network activity. This independent site does not operate the chain, issue SECT or supply bridge instructions.
