Sectora Hash Node and Airdrop Participation
A Hash Node is an additional condition described in Sectora’s Genesis campaign. It is distinct from holding SECT and from an Ethereum staking position.
Why is a Hash Node relevant?
Sectora says it wants its community to take part in building a geographically distributed network rather than rely entirely on a single external infrastructure provider.
For Genesis, the project ties qualifying node activity to the wallet holding the SECT staking position.
Activation according to Sectora
The published guide describes activation on the project’s official dashboard and states that the testnet activation is free, with no ETH gas fee for the activation itself.
The same wallet should be used for staking and the node. The exact interface and procedure may change, so review the live official guide rather than following screenshots from unrelated websites.
Does a computer need to stay on?
Sectora’s guide says the testnet node remains active after registration and does not require leaving a personal computer switched on continuously.
That description is specific to its testnet dashboard system; it should not be generalized into a claim about all nodes on all blockchains.
What if the node turns off?
The airdrop rules describe the rewards counter as pausing when required node activity stops and resuming after qualification is restored.
The campaign’s posted 30-day minimum and anti-bot review remain relevant even when the node has been activated successfully.
