Sectora Staking: How SECT Holder Rewards Work

Sectora staking is the project’s Ethereum-based holder-rewards program for SECT. This guide separates the published mechanics from the airdrop campaign and explains what to check before participating.

What is Sectora staking?

Sectora describes a holder-rewards contract on Ethereum mainnet. Users deposit the SECT token into that contract and accrue SECT-denominated rewards. The project markets a 14.9% yearly rate, with accrual calculated every second.

The reward source is described as treasury-funded SECT transferred to a dedicated rewards pool. That is different from a fixed bank deposit: the token price can change and smart-contract risk remains.

What happens to staked SECT?

The published interface says deposits are not subject to a lock-up and users may claim accumulated rewards separately from withdrawing principal. Ethereum gas fees are required for transactions.

A participant should verify the wallet’s network, token contract, staking contract and exact token allowance before authorizing an approval. A wallet connection alone does not deposit any SECT.

How does staking relate to Genesis Airdrop?

Sectora also describes an airdrop that counts qualifying SECT already deposited in staking. To count for Genesis, its campaign adds an activated Hash Node and a minimum participation period.

The staking rate and the airdrop prize schedule are separate; do not add their headline figures together as though they were a guaranteed investment return.
