Unstake SECT: Withdrawals and Airdrop Considerations
The holder-rewards staking page says SECT can be withdrawn without an enforced lock-up. The airdrop rules, however, use time spent staked as an eligibility input.
Does Sectora staking have a lock-up?
Sectora describes staking deposits as withdrawable at any time and says rewards already earned remain available for claim. This is the project’s published contract policy and should be checked against live contract conditions.
No lock-up does not mean there is no risk: the value of SECT can fluctuate and smart-contract transactions may incur Ethereum fees.
Partial versus full withdrawal
The official guide describes options to withdraw part of a SECT deposit or the entire balance. A wallet confirmation is required for each blockchain transaction.
If you hold multiple positions or have unclaimed rewards, verify the remaining staked balance and the claimable amount after confirmation.
How does unstaking affect Airdrop Genesis?
The airdrop rules describe the reward counter as pausing when qualifying SECT is no longer staked or a Hash Node is turned off. They also describe a minimum 30-day participation threshold for retaining any earned airdrop allocation.
A withdrawal is not necessarily the same as forfeiting all previously counted days, but you should read the campaign’s exact terms rather than make decisions from a simplified summary.
Safe exit checklist
Use the authenticated original Sectora website, inspect token and contract addresses, confirm the requested wallet action and check the transaction on-chain.
This independent guide has no withdrawal or wallet-connect functionality.
